About
Two people, one file, no handoffs.
When you hire A&P you get both of us. The person who writes your proposal is the person you talk to.
Arianna Perez · Professional Grant Writer
The writer in the chair.
Arianna is a professional grant writer who currently develops proposals for the Family YMCA of the Desert. She works in the part of the job most organizations dread: turning a mission statement, a program budget, and a stack of half organized outcome data into a narrative a program officer can fund.
Her approach is straightforward. Read the guidelines twice. Answer the question the funder actually asked. Back every claim with a number or a named source. Keep the organization's own voice on the page instead of replacing it with consultant language.
Note for Pat: replace these three paragraphs with Arianna's exact supplied bio before launch.
Patrick Albert · Strategy, Systems, and Operations
The operator on the other side of the desk.
Patrick Albert is a hands on business builder with more than forty years of real world operating experience. He has owned and run 15+ companies, built Palm Desert Geeks into the Coachella Valley's trusted technology partner for over two decades, and helps organizations use technology, marketing, AI, and smart systems to grow.
He currently assists with grant strategy and writing for the Family YMCA of the Desert, bringing owner operator discipline, Navy honed accountability, and practical fundraising insight to every proposal.
What that means in practice: budgets that reconcile, timelines that hold, and a process that does not fall apart when your executive director is out for a week.
Together we combine deep nonprofit experience with real world business systems so your grants get written, submitted, and funded.
Grant writing sits between two things most firms treat separately. There is the writing, which is a craft, and there is the operation, which is a logistics problem: portals, registrations, attachments, signatures, board approvals, and a deadline that does not move. Arianna handles the first. Patrick makes sure the second never sinks a good proposal.
We are based at 77564 Country Club Dr. in Palm Desert and we work with organizations across the Coachella Valley and beyond. Everything starts with the intake form, which keeps the details in one place instead of scattered across a dozen emails.

The intake form takes about ten minutes. We read every submission ourselves and reply within one business day with next steps and an honest estimate.
